Our client desired a traditional Pacific Northwest style house on Mercer Island.  Located on the shore of Lake Washington, the steep site was a challenge to meet their concept.  The resulting design presented a traditional two-story elevation on the approach, while the lake side afforded numerous framed views of Lake Washington and Mt. Rainier and allowed a stepped, transitional descent to the lake front.  Currently under construction.
